As we age, it becomes even more important to take care of our skin to help it look and feel smoother, plumper, and more lifted. What causes aging skin?

As we age and our skin matures, our production of sebum slows down. Sebum is our skin’s natural oil which is responsible for keeping our skin looking smooth and supple.

On top of this, as we age, the skin’s ability to renew itself slows down over time which can cause dullness and dark spots. Diet, lifestyle habits, genetics, stress, gravity, and exposure to the sun and pollution are other factors that all contribute to aging skin.

The most common signs of aging skin are fine lines, wrinkles, loss of firmness and elasticity, larger pores, dullness and hyperpigmentation.
