What Is Coconut Extract?
Coconut oil and coconut extract are both derived from the coconut fruit, but from different parts. The oil is extracted from the kernel, while coconut extract (called Cocos Nucifera Extract) is taken from the coconut meat.

Also called stratum corneum, the skin barrier is the outermost layer of skin made up of protein, lipids, and fats.
