Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and one which should be perfect in every way – including your wedding makeup! One of the most popular wedding makeup trends is the natural look; a light-coverage base, soft eyeshadow and lip shades and gorgeously glowing skin.
Charlotte’s natural wedding makeup tutorial shows you how to achieve the perfect natural bridal look with some of her iconic skincare and makeup products, including the complexion-brightening Magic Cream moisturiser and the universally-flattering nude-pink Pillow Talk lipstick. Follow the steps below for natural wedding makeup that will make you feel extra special on your big day!
Start by applying Charlotte’s Magic Cream on the face for a dewy, lit-from-within base. Next for hydration, gently apply Magic Eye Rescue under the eyes using your ring finger.
For beautiful bridal skin, choose Light Wonder light-coverage foundation and apply it to the face using outward motions. Light Wonder is the perfect choice for your wedding day; the light-weight formula leaves a gorgeous, natural-looking finish!
Add a bridal glow and sculpt the face with Hollywood Flawless Filter, applying it to the top of the cheekbones, centre of the nose and across the cupid’s bow.
Finally for your gorgeous natural base makeup, use Magic Away concealer underneath the eyes for brightening hydration. The magical cushion applicator makes for effortless application and a flawless result!
Use the Brow Lift eyebrow pencil to fill in and shape the eyebrows for the perfect frame for your wedding eye makeup. Add definition and set in place with Legendary Brows eyebrow gel.
Use Eyes to Mesmerise cream eyeshadow in Champagne, applying onto the whole lid with Charlotte’s Blender Brush. This sparkling champagne-pink eyeshadow is the perfect subtle wash of colour for natural, illuminated eyes.
For natural definition, line your upper lash-line with The Classic eyeliner pencil in Classic Brown, adding a soft wing to the outer corner. Finish the wedding eye makeup look with a coat of Full Fat Lashes mascara to the top and bottom lashes.
Shop eye makeup including cream eyeshadow, mascara and eyeliner
Contour your cheekbones by using the Sculpt shade from Charlotte’s iconic Filmstar Bronze & Glow face palette. Apply it lightly to the hollows of the cheekbones for a natural sculpted look. Next, amplify your glow by applying the Highlight shade to the top of your cheekbones and up to your temples.
For a gorgeous blushing bride look, pop Cheek to Chic blush in Pillow Talk onto the apples of the cheeks. A subtle rosy glow will bring a youthful, fresh look to the face!
For a gorgeously kissable pout, first line the lips with Lip Cheat lip liner in Pillow Talk, before applying Matte Revolution Lipstick in the iconic, matching, nude-pink shade in Pillow Talk! Being long-lasting, universally-flattering and the perfect ‘your-lips-but-better’ pink lipstick, Pillow Talk is a go-to lip shade for brides!
This wedding makeup tutorial is all you need to look and feel naturally beautiful on your big day, with pink hues, glowy skin and a light base.
