Once you’ve chosen the mascara you want to work with, it’s important to ensure your lashes are properly clean and conditioned to avoid any clumping! Before you apply your mascara, always make sure that your face is properly cleansed to avoid any leftover mascara residue from ruining your look. Once your lashes are properly clean, take my Life-Changing Lashes eyelash curler to create DREAMY fluttering lashes and a bigger, brighter-looking gaze!
As you curl your lashes, make sure to tip your head back so that you can access the root of your lashes more easily. Then, open the curlers and carefully press and pulse them onto your lashes, holding for five seconds. If your lashes are particularly long, you may need to curl the root, middle and ends separately. Repeat on both eyes, then say hello to eyes that wow!
Tilbury Tip: Make sure your eyelash curler is clean before using it to help avoid bacteria spreading onto your lashes. To clean your eyelash curler, simply take some soapy water, rinse through and wipe dry using a clean cloth.
And now for the MAGIC of mascara! Take your mascara and hold the brush horizontally, placing the wand at the base of your lash and wiggling it back and forth to coat the root of your lashes. Then, twist the wand and brush through, pulling up towards the tip of your lashes to lift and comb each individual lash. Make sure to coat all of your lashes, moving slowly to avoid any clumping.
Once you’ve coated your lashes from root to tip, use the tip of your wand to coat through each individual lash, repeating multiple times until you achieve your desired intensity. To coat your bottom lashes, angle your wand vertically and precision paint your lashes from the inner to the outer corners. Then, say hello to FULL, FANNED-OUT LASHES!
Tilbury Tip: As you apply mascara to your top lashes, use your thumb as a guard behind your lashes to make sure that no product transfers onto your skin. If your thumb is smeared with mascara at the end of your application, then you’ve applied your mascara correctly!
