What is a lip plumper?
Lip plumper is a makeup product that creates the illusion of fuller lips. It does this by stimulating the lips with specific ingredients that results in your pout appearing fuller and plumped up!. When this happens, your pout appears fuller and plumped up!
You can wear lip plumper alone or underneath your lipstick or lip gloss to create the illusion of a fuller pout. As well as having specific ingredients that give your lips a fuller effect, lip plumpers can also contain hydrating and nourishing ingredients for added comfort. x
How does lip plumper work?
Lip plumpers contain specific ingredients that mildly stimulate the lips for a fuller look and colour resulting in a plumper-looking pout.
At the same time, lip plumpers usually contain hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid to help boost hydration. The effects of many lip plumpers are temporary and instant, while some offer over-time plump-effect benefits. Your lips can look fuller after the very first swipe!
Is lip plumping good for you?
Lip plumper is considered to be a completely safe way of achieving an enhanced and fuller-looking pout. The only risk would be if you were allergic to any of the ingredients in the formula, so it's recommended to always read the label. Lip plumpers usually cause a mild tingling sensation in the lips after application, which is normal. You should stop using lip plumper if you experience any discomfort, rashes or itchiness that spread past the lips and onto the face and neck.
